I have always made my CVs using Microsoft word. After many years of frustration with the formatting (this is probably due to my lack of MS Word skills), I tried using Excel to make an Excel template. With the natural grid formatting of Excel, it is so much easier than using word to get every perfectly aligned, looking neat, tidy and professional.
Also after spending a good amount of time making this website. All my logo and icons were made on CANVAS. I feel CANVAS can be a great place to make professional CV templates. CANVAS has in build styling, a vast library of icons and graphics (Both free and paid for). Perfect for making unique looking CVs.
Below I am sharing the Excel CV template I have made.
Please note, in order to customise the layout, margins and the size of the template (to have a good fit on an A4).
